	I have an early copy of Jabir ibn Haiyan's Book of Eastern Mercury in my study. I brought it home to do some work with it. You know how difficult it is to get the actual Arabic text. His work helped me after Pyotr....well. It's not the same, I suppose, but in a way it is.

And the last thing I needed then was to be left alone with my grief--but neither did I need to be hovered over. There's a fine line to walk, Severus. I won't press you to talk or to have me in the room even.

But being here isn't doing you any good either. You smell like you've been soaked in a whisky vat for a few years.
